How does a guardian home work?
You pay a discounted fee for a puppy/dog and share ownership of the dog with the breeder. The dog will reside at your residence until 1 week before puppies are due.. Then she will go to the breeder and stay there until puppies are weaned. You will be responsible for:
Feeding the puppy/dog food of breeder's choosing, training, regular veterinary expenses such as regular checkups and vaccinations, giving pups vitamins supplied by the breeder, notifying breeder of heats or any illnesses or injuries, having the dog available for breeding related appointments.
What expenses will the breeder cover?
All breeding related expenses such as prenatal vitamins, progesterone testing, artifical inseminations, confirmation of pregnancy, puppy count x-ray, cesarean, and postnatal care.
Requirements:
Fenced yard
Reside within 1 hour of Alamosa, CO
Any other dogs owned MUST be spayed or neutered
